1. Agreement to Terms
By making a reservation, calling our business number, sending an SMS to us, or visiting 14 Acres Vineyard and Winery, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services.
2. Age Requirement
You must be 21 years of age or older to consume alcoholic beverages at 14 Acres Vineyard and Winery, in accordance with Washington State law.
By making a reservation or visiting our tasting room, you confirm that you are 21 years of age or older or that all adults in your party are 21 years of age or older. We reserve the right to request valid government-issued photo identification at the time of service. Guests who cannot provide proof of age will not be served alcoholic beverages.
Children and minors are welcome to accompany adult guests but cannot be served alcoholic beverages.
3. Reservation Terms
Small Reservations (1–19 guests):
- A non-refundable $50 deposit per reservation (not per person) is required to confirm your reservation.
- The $50 deposit will be applied as credit toward your final tab when you arrive.
- Reservations are confirmed only after our team verifies availability for your requested date, time, and seating preference, and after the $50 deposit has been successfully paid.
- We will hold your table for 15 minutes past your reservation time. After 15 minutes, the table may be released to other guests, and your deposit is forfeited.
- You will have 30 minutes to complete payment after receiving the secure payment link, otherwise the reservation will be released.
Large Reservations / Events (20+ guests):
- For groups of 20 or more, we treat the booking as a private event.
- A venue fee of $350 per hour applies, plus a $15 minimum spend per guest.
- A signed contract is required to confirm the booking.
- One of our associates will reach out via email to coordinate the contract and event details.
Cancellation Policy:
- $50 deposits for small reservations are non-refundable.
- For private events (20+ guests), cancellation terms are specified in the signed contract.
4. SMS Messaging Terms
Program Name: 14 Acres Vineyard Reservation Notifications
Description: 14 Acres Vineyard and Winery sends transactional SMS messages to customers who have provided their phone number during a phone call to our business. These messages relate to reservation confirmations, payment links, and reservation status updates.
Consent: By providing your phone number to our virtual receptionist or staff during a phone call to +1 (360) 309-0773, you give verbal consent to receive transactional SMS messages from us related to your inquiry. You also confirm that you are 21 years of age or older.
Message Frequency: Message frequency varies based on your interaction with us. A typical reservation involves 2 to 4 SMS messages between the time of your initial call and the completion of your visit.
Message and Data Rates: Standard message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan. We do not charge for the messages, but your carrier may.
Opt-Out Instructions (STOP): You can opt out of receiving SMS messages from us at any time by replying STOP, CANCEL, END, QUIT, UNSUBSCRIBE, REVOKE, or STOPALL to any message we send you. Upon receiving an opt-out request, we will send a confirmation message, and you will not receive further SMS messages from this program. You can opt back in at any time by texting START.

Supported Carriers: Major US carriers including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless, and others. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Privacy: Your SMS messages and phone number are handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy at https://www.14acres.com/privacy-policy.
5. Payment Terms
We use Clover, a PCI-compliant third-party payment processor, to handle all credit and debit card transactions. We do not store your credit card details on our systems.
14 Acres Vineyard and Winery NEVER asks for your credit card information by phone, text message, or email. Payments are always processed through secure payment links delivered via SMS or email after our team has confirmed your reservation availability.
If you receive a suspicious message claiming to be from 14 Acres requesting credit card information outside of a legitimate Clover payment link, please contact us immediately at manager@14acres.com.
6. On-Premise Conduct
To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests, we ask that you:
- Provide valid government-issued photo identification upon request
- Drink responsibly and follow all Washington State alcohol service laws
- Treat our staff and other guests with respect
- Refrain from disruptive behavior
We reserve the right to refuse service or remove any guest who violates these policies, who appears to be intoxicated, or who cannot verify their age.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on our website, social media accounts, and marketing materials (including wine names, descriptions, photographs, logos, and trademarks) is the property of 14 Acres Vineyard and Winery and is protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not use our content without our written permission.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, 14 Acres Vineyard and Winery, its owners, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of our services, your visit to our property, or any communications with us.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold 14 Acres Vineyard and Winery, its owners, employees, and affiliates harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your violation of these Terms or your use of our services.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any disputes arising out of or related to these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Clark County, Washington.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The most current version will always be posted on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

8. Photo Contests and User-Submitted Content. 8.1 Eligibility. Photo contests, giveaways, and other promotions run by 14 Acres Vineyard and Winery are open to guests 21 years of age or older. Employees of 14 Acres Vineyard and Winery are not eligible to win. No purchase is necessary to enter or win. Winners are selected by the 14 Acres team based on creativity, quality, and fit with our brand, not by random chance. 8.2 License to Use Your Photo. By submitting a photo to 14 Acres Vineyard and Winery, through a contest entry form, upload link, email, text message, or by tagging us on social media, you grant 14 Acres Vineyard and Winery a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, fully paid, transferable, and sublicensable license to use, reproduce, edit, crop, retouch, modify, adapt, combine with other materials, publish, display, distribute, and create derivative works from your submission, in whole or in part, in any medium now known or later developed, for any purpose whatsoever. This includes advertising, marketing, promotional materials, our website, social media accounts, email campaigns, paid advertising, printed signage, packaging, labels, and press materials. This license survives any expiration of the contest and continues even if you later stop doing business with us. 8.3 No Compensation or Approval Rights. You will not be paid for your submission, and you waive any right to inspect or approve how it is used, edited, or captioned. We may credit you by first name but are not obligated to provide credit of any kind. 8.4 Your Representations. By submitting a photo, you represent and warrant that: you took the photo yourself or have obtained all necessary rights from the person who did; every identifiable person appearing in the photo has consented to its use as described in these Terms; you have obtained the consent of a parent or legal guardian for any minor appearing in the photo; and the photo does not infringe any copyright, trademark, right of privacy, right of publicity, or other right of any third party. 8.5 Content Standards. We reserve the right to decline, disqualify, or remove any submission at our sole discretion, including submissions that depict anyone under 21 with alcohol, depict intoxication or unsafe or unlawful behavior, associate alcohol with driving or operating machinery, or that we consider offensive, inappropriate, or inconsistent with our brand or with Washington State alcohol advertising regulations. 8.6 Withdrawing Your Photo. You may ask us to stop using your photo in future materials by emailing manager@14acres.com. We will honor your request on a going-forward basis, but we cannot recall or retract materials that have already been printed, published, distributed, or shared. 8.7 Email and Marketing Consent. By submitting your email address to 14 Acres Vineyard and Winery, including as part of a contest entry, reservation, event inquiry, or mailing list signup, you consent to receive marketing and promotional emails from us, including newsletters, event announcements, wine releases, club offers, and contest results. Message frequency varies. You may unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email or by emailing manager@14acres.com. Unsubscribing from marketing emails does not stop transactional messages relating to a reservation or event you have booked with us. Your email address is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy at https://www.14acres.com/privacy-policy. 8.8 Specific Contest Rules. Individual contests may carry their own published rules covering entry deadlines, prizes, and judging. Where those rules conflict with this section, the published rules for that specific contest control.
